Softr is a no-code application builder that lets teams create client portals, internal tools, and business apps directly from data sources like Airtable, Google Sheets, HubSpot, and SQL databases — without writing any code. Unlike general-purpose no-code platforms such as Bubble or Retool, Softr focuses specifically on turning existing structured data into polished, user-facing applications within hours rather than weeks.

Softr provides over 100 pre-built UI blocks — including lists, charts, tables, forms, kanban boards, and calendars — that connect directly to your data sources via native integrations. Users configure layout, filtering, permissions, and conditional visibility through a drag-and-drop editor. The platform supports user authentication with role-based access control, enabling teams to build secure client portals where external users see only the data relevant to them.

As of early 2026, Softr serves over 400,000 users and has been used to build more than 90,000 applications across industries including consulting, real estate, education, and professional services. The platform introduced AI-powered features in 2024, including an AI app generator that produces a working application from a natural-language prompt and an AI assistant that helps users configure blocks, write formulas, and troubleshoot issues.

Softr integrates natively with Airtable, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Salesforce, and PostgreSQL/MySQL databases. It also connects to over 5,000 additional tools via Zapier and Make (formerly Integromat), and offers a REST API and webhook support for custom integrations.
