Vibe Dot is a wearable AI voice recorder from Vibe that captures meetings, calls and memos, then produces speaker-labeled transcripts, summaries and action items in the Vibe AI app.
A small clip-on recorder that records your meetings and calls and turns them into transcripts, summaries and to-do lists in a phone app.
Vibe Dot is a wearable AI voice recorder made by Vibe Inc., the company behind the Vibe Board collaboration displays. It is designed to capture meetings, phone calls and personal memos and to turn them into structured notes through the Vibe AI app.
The device weighs 0.83 oz and can be worn, clipped to a jacket or attached magnetically to the back of a phone to record calls; a magnetic ring is included for phones without MagSafe. It uses a five-microphone array made up of four air microphones and one bone-conduction microphone, stores recordings on 64GB of internal memory, and has a battery rated for more than 30 hours with USB-C charging in about 90 minutes. Recording modes include press and hold for memos, a double-tap to start and stop full meeting recordings with single presses to mark key moments, and a beta auto-capture mode that starts when it detects the wearer's voice or during scheduled blocks. A dedicated encryption chip protects recordings, and Vibe cites FIPS 140-3, SOC 2, HIPAA and FERPA.
Recordings sync over Bluetooth to the Vibe AI phone app, which uploads them to the cloud. Vibe AI produces speaker-labeled transcripts, summaries with industry-specific templates and action items, and offers Ask AI for questions across past recordings. On paid plans it can draft follow-ups through Gmail, Outlook and Slack, update tasks in Jira, Linear, Asana and HubSpot, and sync with ChatGPT and Claude through MCP. Some integrations are marked as coming soon.
The device lists at $249 and was on sale for $199, with a 30-day guarantee and a 12-month warranty. Vibe AI's Starter plan is free and includes 300 transcription minutes per month. Pro costs $9 per month and Max $29 per month, each billed annually, adding minutes, AI credits, longer search history and integrations. Plans are only sold with a Vibe device.
Compared with software note takers such as Otter.ai, Fireflies.ai or Granola, Vibe Dot's advantage is capturing in-person conversations and phone calls without a laptop. It competes most directly with other wearable recorders such as Plaud NotePin.
