Visual regression testing for Playwright, Storybook and Vitest that uses an AI judge to classify UI changes and exposes results to coding agents over MCP.
Takes screenshots of the UI a pull request changes, has an AI label each difference as intended, a regression or a flake, and posts the result on GitHub.
UI Verify is a visual regression testing service built for teams that use Playwright, Storybook or Vitest browser mode, and positioned around workflows involving AI coding agents. When a pull request is opened, it captures screenshots of the components and pages the change touches, compares them with stored baselines, and posts a check and comment on the GitHub PR.
Its central feature is an AI judge that labels each visual difference as an intended update, a real regression or a flake, and records its reasoning. The judge does not merge anything; reviewers make the final decision, can comment on specific pixels in threads, and accept or deny each change. Capture is designed to reduce noise by pinning animations, timers, fonts and async data, and only affected screens are re-rendered while unchanged ones carry forward. Every accepted baseline is versioned. Chromium is available on all projects, and Storybook projects can add Firefox and Safari (WebKit) at desktop and phone widths. Teams can also upload PNGs from other tools, including native and React Native apps.
An MCP server, included on every plan, lets agents such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex list builds on a branch, inspect changed snapshots and overlays, read the judge's verdict, and accept or deny changes from the terminal. Setup can be handed to a coding agent with a single prompt that writes the CI workflow and capture step.
The Free plan includes 10,000 snapshots and 100 AI reviews per month with unlimited projects and members. Starter is $89 per month for 30,000 snapshots and 1,000 AI reviews, and Pro is $199 per month for 65,000 snapshots and 2,500 AI reviews. Extra snapshots cost $0.004 each and extra AI reviews $0.03. Enterprise pricing is custom, and open-source projects get 50,000 snapshots per month free.
UI Verify competes with Chromatic, Percy and Applitools. Its differentiators are the AI triage of diffs and the MCP integration; its main constraint is that source control support is currently limited to GitHub.
