SigNoz

SigNoz is an open-source observability platform that bundles application performance monitoring, distributed tracing, logs, metrics, exceptions, and alerts into one tool. It is built natively on OpenTelemetry, which means there is no proprietary agent or lock-in: instrument your apps with the OTel SDK once and the same telemetry can flow to SigNoz or any other OTel-compatible backend. The platform recently launched 'Agent Native Observability', adding first-class support for tracing AI agents, tool calls, and LLM spans alongside traditional services. SigNoz is offered in two ways: a managed SaaS with usage-based pricing (data-ingest plus retention) and a fully self-hostable open-source distribution running on ClickHouse, which is popular with teams that need data residency or have very large telemetry volumes. Compared with Datadog, SigNoz typically lands in the same APM/logs/traces feature space at materially lower cost while keeping every signal queryable side by side.
