Power BI Desktop is free for individual authoring, Power BI Pro costs $14.00 per user per month (paid yearly), and Power BI Premium Per User costs $24.00 per user per month with enterprise-scale features. Power BI in Microsoft Fabric uses variable capacity-based pricing, allowing you to share reports with unlicensed users under a single capacity SKU. Power BI Embedded is also priced on a capacity model for ISVs and developers embedding analytics into their own applications.

Yes â Power BI is deeply integrated across the Microsoft ecosystem. Power BI Desktop, the main authoring tool, is Windows-only and does not have a native macOS application.
