Poe, built by Quora, is a multi-model chat application and bot marketplace. Its current homepage highlights GPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4.5, DeepSeek R1, Veo 3.1, Sora 2, and thousands of community bots. The catalog covers text, reasoning, coding, image, video, and audio generation, with history synchronized across web, iOS, Android, and macOS.

Poe's advantage is breadth through one interface. Users can compare models, create prompt bots, connect API-backed bots, join group chats containing people and bots, and publish tools to a marketplace. A creator revenue-share program pays some bot builders based on engagement or subscription conversion, but that income is platform-dependent and unpredictable.

Pricing and points

Poe provides limited free usage and uses compute points for paid access. Each model consumes a different number of points per message or generation; premium reasoning and video models can use much more than lightweight chat models.
