Meetily

Meetily is an open-source, privacy-first AI meeting assistant that runs entirely on your local machine, capturing meetings, transcribing them in real time, and generating AI summaries without sending any data to the cloud. Built by Zackriya Solutions as a single self-contained desktop app (Tauri, with a Rust backend and Next.js frontend), it targets professionals and enterprises in fields like defense, legal, and healthcare who need meeting intelligence without the privacy, compliance, or GDPR/HIPAA risks of cloud tools. Local transcription uses Whisper or NVIDIA Parakeet models with GPU acceleration (Apple Silicon Metal/CoreML, NVIDIA CUDA, AMD/Intel Vulkan) enabled automatically at build time. It captures microphone and system audio simultaneously with professional audio mixing and ducking, works across meeting platforms and offline, and can import existing audio files to transcribe or re-transcribe. For summaries you choose your AI provider: Ollama runs fully local (recommended), or connect Claude, Groq, OpenRouter, OpenAI, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. It ships prebuilt installers for Windows (x64 .exe) and macOS (.dmg), with Linux built from source. The Community Edition is free and open source (MIT) forever. A separate commercial Meetily PRO (from around $120) adds higher-accuracy models, custom summary templates, advanced PDF/DOCX/Markdown exports, auto-detect-and-join meetings, upcoming speaker diarization, calendar integration, and self-hosted team deployment; a Meetily Enterprise tier targets 100+ users.
