Lispr (lispr.ai), by Codebridge Technology, Inc., is a push-to-talk voice dictation and translation utility for macOS 11+ (Apple Silicon and Intel; a Windows download is also offered). The gesture is the whole product: hold the right Option key and speak in your native language, and the transcribed text lands directly at your cursor in whatever app is focused — Slack, Notes, Figma, even Terminal. Tap Control mid-speech and Lispr types the translation into your chosen target language instead, so you can speak English and send Spanish in a WhatsApp reply without copy-paste or a chat UI. Speech recognition uses Whisper large-v3 in the cloud (audio is encrypted in transit, transcribed, then discarded — nothing stored, nothing used for training), understanding ~99 languages with automatic detection; translation is polished for 32 target languages, with your top two pinned to hotkeys. Speed claims: ~0.2s for dictation, ~0.5s for translation. Extras include custom vocabulary (product names, code identifiers, client lists respected in both dictation and translation), clipboard-safe insertion that restores what you had copied, and a ~4 MB footprint living quietly in the menu bar.
