Kling AI is the video-generation product of Chinese tech company Kuaishou, developed by its KwaiVGI lab. It is one of a small handful of video models — alongside Runway Gen-3/4, OpenAI Sora, Google Veo, and MiniMax Hailuo — that hold up at production length. Kling generates text-to-video and image-to-video clips with notably strong physical realism (fluids, hair, fabric, contact dynamics), supports clip lengths up to 2 minutes in its longer modes, and offers an unusually rich editing surface for a video model: Motion Brush (drag a path or arrow on the start frame to control object motion), Camera Movement controls (push, pan, orbit, zoom), Elements (composite multiple subject images into a single scene), Lip Sync (drive a character's mouth to your audio), Extend (continue a clip), and 1080p upscaling. Both Kling 1.5/1.6 and the newer Kling 2.x model families are available, with a Standard/Pro/Master ladder trading speed for quality.
