Firebase Studio is Google's browser-based, cloud-hosted development environment for building full-stack apps end-to-end with Gemini as the built-in coding assistant. For 2026 Google added Gemini 3 Pro and Gemini 3 Deep Think inside the assistant, integrated Genkit for agent orchestration, and shipped an MCP client so any MCP server your team publishes is available inside the editor. The pricing model bundles workspace usage into Firebase's spark (free) and Blaze (pay-as-you-go) plans, plus Gemini Code Assist tiers layered on top for higher assistant quotas. It is the obvious choice for teams building on Firebase or Google Cloud that want the AI assistant, backend services, and hosting to come from one vendor with tight integration.
