Dia Browser

Dia is The Browser Company's AI-native browser — the successor product to their earlier Arc browser. Where Arc bolted AI features onto a Chromium browser, Dia is designed from the ground up around the idea that the browser itself is the interface for a personal AI agent. The URL bar doubles as a chat input that knows about your open tabs, your history, and the page you are looking at, so you can ask 'compare the two open tabs on price and shipping' or 'summarise this article and add the key facts to my notes' without copy-pasting between apps. Dia includes 'Skills' — reusable agent behaviours you can create from natural-language instructions and trigger by name — and a sidebar chat that maintains a single conversation thread across the tabs in a workspace. The product launched in invite-only beta in 2025 and went into broader availability in 2026, with paid tiers ('Dia Pro') unlocking higher usage of premium models and access to advanced Skills, while a free tier supports lighter daily browsing. Dia runs on macOS and Windows, with mobile companion apps in development. For knowledge workers spending most of their day in the browser, Dia is one of the most ambitious attempts to redefine the browser as an AI surface alongside Perplexity Comet, Brave Leo, and Arc Search.
