aiWriter (aiwriter.ai) is a browser-based AI writing tool built for creative writing rather than business copy. From a single prompt it can generate short stories across more than 20 genres, poems in a range of forms, song lyrics, and full-length novels. Visitors can start writing without an account; signing in with Google saves documents, characters and worlds across devices.
The tool offers two models. Skilled Writer v1 is the fast, unlimited model available on every plan and always writes in English. Deep Writer v2 is the premium model aimed at richer prose and more distinctive character voices, and it can write stories in the language of the prompt, including Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Arabic. Writing profiles (Fiction, Balanced and Essay) adjust tone, and Rewrite, Expand and Continue Writing tools help revise and extend drafts. A single generation runs to roughly 2,000 words; Continue Writing, available on paid plans, extends pieces beyond that.
The novel writer builds a three-act outline and chapter skeleton, then drafts chapters using a character bible and tracked plot threads. Free accounts can outline; drafting needs Plus (one book at a time) or Gold (unlimited concurrent books). A separate Unfiltered mode covers darker genres such as horror, crime noir and grimdark fantasy.
Pricing is published. The Free plan includes unlimited Skilled Writer v1 use with per-minute and per-hour pacing and 10 Deep Writer v2 generations per month. Plus costs $8.49/month or $84.90/year and adds 5,000 Deep Writer v2 generations, Continue Writing and unlimited documents. Gold costs $14.49/month or $144.90/year with unlimited Deep Writer v2 use under fair use and unlimited characters, worlds and novel projects. Annual plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Compared with general-purpose writers such as Jasper, Copy.ai or Writesonic, aiWriter is narrower and aimed at fiction. It sits closer to Sudowrite and NovelAI, with a lower entry price and a usable free tier, but with a smaller feature set and no editor integrations.
